Zeus Associates Recruiting and Staffing is seeking for a Project Controls Engineer to support the Program Management Services team for a prestigious firm that has been around for a long time.

The Project Controls Engineer must 5 Plus years of Program or Construction management experience

Job Responsibilities

• Creates cost and budget management reports at program and project level
• Keeps accurate and detailed program records and documentation in an organized manner
• Assists with preparation of project progress agendas and objectives
• Assists with preparation of weekly and monthly project reports
• Performs routine assignments requiring application of spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling software
• Supports the program administratively throughout the project’s lifecycle with a focus on data accuracy
• Attends program and project calls and meetings
• Creates procedures and workflows for collecting, analyzing and reporting cost related data

Preferred Skills:

Job Requirements

• Understanding of and a keen interest in the construction industry is essential
• 5 Plus years of Program or Construction management experience
• Ability to Analyze data and preparing reports
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to multi-task, handling numerous concurrent requests
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work professionally as a team player in a fast-paced deadline orientated environment
• Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of project controls software such as Primavera P6 is a plus
• Relevant work experience in management of a large-scale program
• Relevant work experience in Design-Build projects
• Familiar with policies and procedures for construction contract administration

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Business Management required
• Master’s level degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture Preferred
